About Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Pokémon Legends: Z-A game was released worldwide on Thursday, October 16, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
This title is the first in the Pokémon series to feature Pokémon battles that unfold in real time, letting players enjoy new action elements in battle.
Your adventure takes place in Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway. During the day, you can explore the city. “Wild zones” constructed using cutting-edge technology can be found throughout the city. Wild Pokémon live within these areas, and you can battle or catch them to add them to your team. At night, it’s time to take on the Z-A Royale. A battle zone will appear somewhere within the city, enclosed in red holographic fencing. Trainers go head-to-head in fierce Pokémon battles within this zone. Take on the Z-A Royale with Pokémon you’ve trained and aim to become the strongest Pokémon Trainer there is!
As the city transforms between day and night, you will take on all sorts of events and incidents alongside new friends.
About Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension

It includes new Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel items that can be worn right away in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, along with additional story content you can enjoy after completing Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s main story.
Space-time distortions begin appearing in Lumiose City. After meeting a mysterious young girl named Ansha, who is accompanied by the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, you dive into one of these strange distortions. Within, you find Hyperspace Lumiose, a mysterious place inhabited by powerful Pokémon different from those found in Lumiose City. Thus begins a new adventure for you and your friends!
