The official Pokémon tournament, "2025-26 Singapore Master Ball League," was held over two days on May 23 and 24, 2026, at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in Singapore, attracting a significant number of players from within Singapore.
A total of 2,661 attendees joined the two-day event, marking a remarkable increase of 188% compared to the previous year. This figure represents the highest attendance ever recorded for a Pokémon competitive event in Singapore.
Of this total, 892 players competed in the main tournament, while 1,769 visitors engaged in various side events designed for the general public. This milestone reflects the rapid expansion of the Pokémon community in Singapore and underscores the rising momentum of the region's competitive ecosystem.
The tournament featured intense matches across multiple divisions, where players demonstrated the results of their daily training. In addition, a variety of side events were held to enhance the overall visitor experience, offering enjoyable activities for everyone from beginners to advanced players.
Specifically, the event included Nintendo Switch 2 Hands-On Experience, Pokémon MEZASTAR, and beginner-friendly trial programs for Pokémon Trading Card Game and etc., providing a wide range of engaging content.
Top finishers from each division earned invitations to compete in the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, scheduled to be held in San Francisco, USA, in August 2026, where they will represent Singapore on the global stage.
The event culminated in the final matches, where high-level strategies and intense gameplay thrilled the audience and brought great excitement to the venue.
